We think it was originally made in the 1950's but in the style of the mid to late 19th Century movement 'Arts & Crafts'. It is made from brass and stained glass. We have newly restored it to a very high standard, the brass is pristine and the glass is in amazing condition. We have fitted it with a brand new cable, measuring 110cm. The lettering on the front translates to 'account book' and we believe the name of the owner is written on the back
