Sophisticated composition, skillfully painted throughout by Jule Melbardis (1879 1979) in 1959. The artist practiced in both Latvia and throughout North America, most often in Connecticut. The frame is a period pickled oak, which is perfectly acceptable but could easily be replaced to better
